Do not track requests

How long do we retain your information?
We retain personal data for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. Casework and constituency correspondence is generally retained for up to one year after a case is closed, at which point it is reviewed or securely deleted. Data processed for democratic engagement and campaigning purposes is retained in line with standard election cycles and is regularly reviewed to ensure it remains adequate, relevant, and necessary. We will retain information longer only if required or permitted by law (such as for tax, accounting, or other legal requirements).
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymise such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.
